Megumin and Aqua from Konosuba! get to “work” on these cosplays

Although “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!” (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) ended a little over a week ago, the impact this anime had on fans has been more than relevant, and we will continue to see a lot of content based on the series in the future. And a clear example of this was what happened in Brazil, where two cosplayers characterized themselves as the cute Aqua and Megumin as part of an advertising campaign of the most curious, but at the same time, following the line of this anime, very funny.

Megumin and Aqua bring the magic of Konosuba! to Brazil

In a video shared on Twitter/X official cosplayer @NaokoCos, she along with another artist, Suppai Ly are presented with impressive cosplays of Megumin and Aqua respectively, both popular “waifus” of the anime Konosuba! And in this audiovisual piece we can see the girls as they interact with the public and spread the excitement about the JAPANESE Immigration Festival 2024 that was held in Brazil, where the two cosplayers are from.

Naoko Cosplay, characterized as Megumin, and Suppai Ly, as Aqua, not only dressed up as two of the most popular “waifus” that Konosuba! has, but also as we mentioned this was done with a slightly more striking motive, as they did it to invite their followers and the community to participate in the cultural event. And this can be seen in the same description of the video: “Megumin and Aqua lost everything (they never had anything) and went to Av Paulista!”, the phrase is a reference to the plot of Konosuba! where the protagonists live day by day working to survive, so they never really had much under their power.

Konosuba Cosplay Aqua Y Megumin En Brasil 2

Naoko Cosplay and Suppai Ly’s appearance at the Japanese Immigration Festival 2024 was a huge success. Their active participation in promoting at the festival and cosplaying 2 beloved characters from KonoSuba! demonstrated how cosplay can be a powerful way to connect communities and share cultural passions. Although this event took place days ago, it is hoped that these kinds of events will inspire more people to come together and celebrate cultural diversity and help promote Japanese culture in Brazil, as well as in other parts of the world.

The JAPANESE Immigration Festival 2024 was held on June 15 and 16, and was an excellent and enriching experience for all attendees interested in immersing themselves in Japanese culture. The festival offered a variety of activities, such as traditional music and dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, food booths and much more, all to promote a little more Japanese culture in Brazil, which is why we saw the girls from Konosuba! present.
