As some of you may remember, at the moment when the last episode of the anime adaptation of the manga “Megami no Café Terrace” (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses) ended, the official media of the series were surprised with an exciting news: The story of the anime “Megami no Café Terrace” would continue with its second season.
It has been more than 7 months since it was announced the production of a second season of the anime “Megami no Café Terrace” and to the good fortune of the people who were waiting for news about this new installment, the official media of the TV anime has reported its premiere for the month of July of this year. Additionally, a 41-second teaser video has been presented confirming the release month of “Megami no Café Terrace Season 2“.

But that’s not all, as the official media of the anime series “Megami no Café Terrace” has also unveiled a new visual image that is centered on the characters Ouka Makuzawa, Akane Hououji, Ami Tsuruga, Riho Tsukishima and Shiragiku Ono, the female protagonists of the series.
The anime adaptation of the manga Megami no Café Terrace premiered on Japanese television on April 7, 2023. The series consisted of a total of 12 episodes and the animation studio Tezuka Productions was in charge of its production under the direction of Satoshi Kuwabara. It is worth mentioning that the series was legally and simultaneously broadcast in America through the Crunchyroll platform.
As previously mentioned, the production of the second season of the anime “Megami no Café Terrace” was announced in June 2023. However, not many details about its production were released at that time.
“Megami no Café Terrace” introduces us to Kasukabe Hayato, a young man who has just taken his first steps in college. However, an unexpected twist of fate will completely change his life when he receives a call that leaves him stunned: his only family, his beloved grandmother, has passed away. With no other choice, he rushes to his hometown to take over the house and coffee shop that his grandmother has bequeathed to him. But, upon entering the property, he finds something he never imagined: five beautiful girls!
Surprise and confusion invade Hayato as he tries to assimilate this peculiar situation. Initially, his plan was to demolish the house and build a parking lot in its place. However, something changes in him at that very moment and he makes an unexpected decision. He decides to give the coffee shop, a place that was so important to his grandmother, a chance and embark on this new adventure with the mysterious girls.
These five young women turn out to be goddesses of fortune, although perhaps their presence also brings with it a certain amount of misfortune. From that moment on, Hayato enters a world full of surprises, friendship, romance and challenges. In the cafeteria, he will discover hidden secrets, intertwine emotional ties and face comical and convoluted situations.
