Following the airing of episode 23 of the second season of “Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha” (The Misfit of Demon King Academy), it was confirmed that the 24th and final episode will be delayed until the end of July.
Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha 2 episode 24 delayed
Through a publication on the official account on X (formerly known as Twitter), it was revealed that the last episode of the second season is scheduled to air on July 24 through TOKYO and, in the following days, on other Japanese channels.
Although the reason for the delay has not yet been specified, on the website we can find the caption: “All our staff will do their best to create a work that meets the expectations of our fans, so we appreciate your understanding”.
The first season of “Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha” (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) enjoyed great popularity that led to the confirmation of a 24-episode second season, which has been the subject of an endless wave of bad news.
The first part of the second season, after releasing several episodes, was postponed without notice and resumed months later. Even so, we have seen multiple delays that have caused much annoyance among fans of the franchise.
Recently, episode 22 of “Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha” (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) was scheduled to premiere on June 21, but a one-week delay was announced, causing episode 22 to air on June 28 and episode 23 to premiere on July 3.
Although there is no precise information about the sudden delays, it is rumored that the inconvenience of the second season of “Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha” (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) was caused by a lack of staff to finish each episode on time.
In each of the most recent episodes there have been many incomplete visual details and poorly crafted 3D effects that have generated memes and mockery on social networks. It seems that the studio has had a very complicated production that could make it very difficult to confirm a third season, especially after the multiple disappointments.
