The popular light novel franchise “Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha” (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) with its anime adaptation initially excited many fans of this fantasy. But they did not count on all the problems that would come for this story and that apparently have not stopped with each of its emissions and about to end the spring season has not been the exception causing some chapters to be modified.
Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha delays its chapters again
Undoubtedly this story full of fantastic adventures that take us through the long journey of the protagonist Anos Voldigoad to prove his identity in a new world caught the attention of fans who saw great potential and development of the story. When it was announced that it would finally have an anime, expectations were very high, as they expected a great adaptation full of action that over time faded due to the problems that it was accumulating.
The first season of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha had no major complications in its broadcast, so a year later it was decided to make a second one, something that made the fans who wanted to see more very happy. But problems were not long in coming and the production was affected when they could not finish the chapters on time and had to postpone them, so they finally decided to split it into two parts and still the setbacks continue.
Recently, through an official statement, the production of the anime Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha announced to its fans that the last chapters of the second part of the second season would be rescheduled, in the following order:
- June 21 – Compilation episode
- June 28 – Episode 22
- July 3rd – Episode 23
This rearrangement of episodes has caused the schedule to change too much, leaving the 24th and last episode of the second season completely out of the schedule because the next summer season is about to start and another anime will take its place. So it is most likely that after the July 3 broadcast, the last episode will remain on indefinite hiatus until a possible air date is announced.
Let’s remember that this is not the first time that the production of the anime Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha has been affected by a big scandal. And although it has been a while, fans can not forget, because when it came to light that the first seiyuu who gave life to Anos Voldigoad, Tatsuhisa Suzuki who was then in a relationship with the famous singer LiSA was unfaithful, the networks exploded against him and even more LiSA’s followers. Obviously, this went on to greatly affect her work as a seiyuu and later they would communicate that, among other things, she would no longer be the voice of Anos Voldigoad and other characters.
Inevitably, this meant a problem for the anime of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha, since there was the unknown of who would replace him and who, of course, would not have the same touch that Tatsuhisa Suzuki gave him with his peculiar voice. Following the constant setbacks to air the episodes that have been accumulating, it is really lucky that it will continue with its second season.
The story of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha takes us to the demon king, who after realizing that his power has reached such a level that no other race or being in existence can cope with him, thinks of something. After becoming bored with the destruction and tyranny, he decides to reincarnate 2000 years in the future to find a world of peace. In doing so he is reborn into a new life. Anos Voldigoad now observes the new world and decides to join the academy to train as a demon king, his surprise is that everyone claims to be the demon king and wishes to use this title to master the powers of the demon king.
As there is too much peace due to his absence as demon king, Anos realizes that his predecessors are not very strong, the threat being a warrior who pretends to be him, called Avos Dilhevia. Now he must fight and try to save this world to turn it into the peaceful place he dreamed of 2000 years ago. Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha is one of those fantasies that has stood out among the genre for its plot and the objective of its main character.
