Desde la red social X antes Twitter se ha vuelto muy popular un clip donde podemos apreciar la popularidad de «Gushing Over Magical Girls» (Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete). Recordemos que este anime fue uno de los favoritos de los fans, debido al alto grado de emoción y «ricura» que manejaba la serie, así como el carisma de sus muchas «waifus» que hoy en día se posicionan entre las más populares de esta temporada que está finalizando. In it we see a group of girls in the street doing a very nice recreation of the story. Basically, we see Utena Hiiragi handing out “affection” to the members of “Three Magic“, using her magic transformation tool to each one of them.
A detail that was fantastic to these girls in cosplay is that when Minakami Sayo, also known as “Magia Azure” has her turn to receive the little “gift” from Utena; Sayo does a little dance that reminds us of how she is in the series, as anyone who has seen the anime will know very well that at one point in the story this blue-haired girl becomes fascinated by the skills of Utena Hiiragi as “Magia Baiser“. So this simple detail is a genius in itself.
Evidently this is not the only highlight of the short clip of “Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete”, as we also see the presence of “Morino Korisu” and “Kiwi Araga” where the girl characterized as the latter uses a leaf blower to give a blizzard effect that gives the dramatic touch to the video. Finally, this curious clip is accompanied by a little song that brings the right atmosphere to this group of “magical girls“.
