While waiting for new updates on the second season of the anime Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete (Gushing Over Magical Girls), the franchise was present at the Wonder Festival 2025 event. Fortunately for fans of the captivating Hiiragi Utena, better known as the leader of the evil Enormita organization, Magia Baiser, it was announced at this event that she will be making a comeback.
The return of Magia Baiser will take place thanks to KADOKAWA and Phat!, who have focused on the character to announce the upcoming release of a scale figure that will be inspired by the protagonist of the anime Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete. This announcement was accompanied by some promotional images, which will present different versions of Magia Baiser:

In the promotional image presented by KADOKAWA, through its KDcolle figures division, we can see Magia Baiser with a revealing swimsuit that leaves much to the imagination of the viewer, while in the promotional image presented by the manufacturer of Phat! figures, this will show us a different side of Magia Baiser and is that it has been presented in its “excited / empowered” version seen in episode 11 of the anime Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete.
For the moment, not much information about its release has been released, so we will have to wait a few months to share new updates about this product to the public.
Information about Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete:
Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete, also known as Gushing Over Magical Girls in the West, is a comedy and mahou shoujo manga that is written and illustrated by Akihiro Ononaka. The work began its publication in the “Storia Dash” service of the Takeshobo publishing house since March 2019 and currently, the manga is still in publication and has been collected by the “Takeshobo” publishing house in 11 volumes.
Thanks to the good reception of Akihiro Ononaka’s manga, an anime series adaptation for Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete was announced in March 2023.
On January 3, 2024, the manga “Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete” premiered its respective anime adaptation, which consisted of a total of 13 episodes. The animation studio Asahi Production was in charge of the production of the series. The series is legally available on the Anime Onegai platform.
The anime Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete will have a Second Season
In October 2024, the official media of the anime adaptation of the manga Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete (Gushing over Magical Girls) announced the production of a second season. However, this news was not accompanied by a possible premiere date, so fans will have to wait for further updates.
The anime Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete has the following description: A team of three magical girls known as Three Magic protects the city where Utena Hiiragi lives. Like many others, Utena adores these magical girls who fight bravely in the name of justice. One day, a mysterious black character appears before Utena and grants her the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to transform into a magical girl.
However, the offer is not what it seems, as Utena has been recruited by an evil organization to fight against the magical girls she has always admired. Utena is forced to face Three Magic in combat, but instead of feeling remorse, she unexpectedly finds pleasure in inflicting pain on the magical girls. Giving in completely to her desires, Utena adopts her role as a villain, gradually transforming her adoration for the magical girls into a new sadistic obsession.
