Upon returning home, she rescues an injured ferret who turns out to be Yuno, a child archeologist from another world. Yuno gives her a magical device called the Raising Heart, which grants Nanoha magical powers.
Soon, Nanoha becomes embroiled in a battle for the powerful “Jewel Seeds,” crystals that can fulfill wishes, but are extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. Along the way, she finds herself in conflict with Fate Testarossa, another girl from a different world, as she tries to fulfill her mission. Although she faces many adversities, Nanoha only wishes to make friends and not fight. Will she succeed in using her magic to convey her true intentions?
