This exciting announcement has been accompanied by a first promotional video that has set the hearts of fans of this beautiful classic on fire.
And that’s not all, as a first promotional image was also revealed in which we can see the beginning of this exciting and magical adventure. Now our protagonists Hikaru Shidou/Lucy, Umi Ryuuzaki/Marina and Fuu Hououji/Anais are summoned to another world called Zephyr, which needs their help and protection, as the legendary Magic Knight they are and are about to discover.

The manga was originally published in the monthly magazine Nakayoshi from November 1993 to April 1996 and in six tankonbon compilation volumes from July 1994 to April 1996 by Kōdansha. The first three volumes correspond to the first story arc of the series and the remaining three to the second story arc.
Magic Knight Rayearth tells the story of three teenage high school girls, Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki and Fuu Hououji, who during a school trip to Tokyo Tower, are summoned to the planet Zephyr by Princess Emeraude, to fulfill a legend that would change the fate of that world. The three girls begin their adventure to get their magical weapons, develop their magical powers, awaken the Mashin (genies) and thus be able to return to Tokyo.
