In the last few hours, fans of the original anime “Lycoris Recoil” have shown their excitement over a comment made by Shunsuke Sugimoto, an employee of A-1 Pictures, the animation studio that was in charge of the production of the series, where he pointed out that the expected new animated project will consist of the production of a movie.
It should be mentioned that this comment made by Shunsuke Sugimoto was deleted after a few hours. However, Twitter users were able to take screenshots before this reply was deleted, which aroused the excitement of Lycoris Recoil fans, who have shown their enthusiasm for this comment. Although there is nothing official yet, updates about the anime project of the series have been spread on the internet.
Recall that the original anime “Lycoris Recoil” began airing on television in Japan on July 2, 2022. The series consisted of a total of 13 episodes and its last episode aired in Japan on September 24 of the same year. The animation studio A-1 Pictures was in charge of its production and it was broadcast legally and simultaneously through the Crunchyroll platform, which dubbed the anime into English.

Our protagonist, Takina Inoue, stands out as an exceptional Lycoris, imbued with determination and perfectionism. However, an act of insubordination during a hostage situation relegates her from the DA and leads her to an unexpected new destination: LycoReco, a coffee shop that serves as a cover for less conventional operations.
At this new location, Takina meets her partner, Chisato Nishikigi, a Lycoris prodigy known for her prowess, but who seems surprisingly disinterested in her duties. Chisato takes Takina on peculiar missions, where, puzzlingly, she demonstrates her skills without resorting to lethal violence. Between odd jobs and life lessons, Takina is torn between her desire to return to the DA and the perspective of Chisato, who is determined to show her that there is more to life than simply taking it away.
