In the official media related to the anime adaptation of Miya Kinojou and Katagari’s light novel, “Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life” (Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers), new updates about the TV anime have been revealed, specifically regarding its premiere month.
Among this round of news is the confirmation that the series will hit television in Japan during the month of April of this year. Additionally, a new promotional video for the anime has been revealed to the public, which presents a preview of its closing theme and a preview of what we will be able to see in the series.
Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha will be released in April 2024.
It is important to note that the closing theme of the anime Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life will be performed by Dialogue+ and will be titled “Utopia Gaku-Gairon” (Introduction to Utopian Studies). But that’s not all, as the official website of the series has also presented a series of visuals starring the characters Fenrys and Flio.

Yoshiaki Iwasaki will lead the direction of the anime, while animation studio J.C. Staff will be in charge of its production. Megumi Shimizu will play a crucial role in charge of the anime’s composition, and Souta Suwa will contribute to the character design. Finally, the soundtrack will be composed by Kujira Yumemiru.

Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life takes us to the Magic Kingdom of Klyrode, a place where an annual tradition summons heroes from different worlds to join the fight against the forces of the Dark One and his fearsome army of demons. In this context, Banaza, an ordinary merchant summoned from the royal capital, Paluma, discovers that his stay in this realm is destined to be very different from that of conventional heroes.
Unlike his summoned companions, Banaza lacks magical abilities, possesses no combat skills, and his stats are mediocre at best. His presence in the Magic Kingdom seems like a mistake, and an unfortunate incident prevents him from returning home. Rejected as useless in the fight against the dark forces and abandoned on the fringes of the kingdom by an indifferent king, Banaza’s fate seems bleak.
However, the story takes a fascinating turn when this unexpected anti-hero acquires trickster superpowers upon reaching level two. How will Banaza, the failed hero candidate, now endowed with amazing abilities, fare?
