Something that video game lovers have been waiting for a long time is the remastering of Lollipop Chainsaw due to the particular gameplay and its high fanservice content that drew attention at the time. Many people were surprised when it was announced that this title would be receiving a remastering years after its release, which finally went on sale a few days ago and as you could see, many fans were happy because the game was not censored.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is uncensored
A few days ago Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP was released on several platforms and many people were uploading several gameplays and in their first impressions they realized that this version is uncensored. Which is excellent news, since in the old Lollipop Chainsaw this was already the case and with a remastering it is normal that there are some changes, but in general that the gameplay is kept in its same essence is great news for players.
As some fans may know, Lollipop Chainsaw had the function of changing outfits for the protagonist Juliet Starling, and although some did not return from the original version, the ones that were seen were enough. Although many expect fanservice throughout the gameplay, it is still an action game against zombies, but even so, the detail of leaving the title as it was, in a certain way, is appreciated.
And there are some outfits that barely cover part of Juliet’s body that make us question what kind of game it is, but they are shown without any kind of censorship. Just as this type of content is uncensored, so is the violence shown in the same way, so Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP shows us in essence what was once a great zombie game, which certainly speaks well of the studio that was responsible for bringing to life this classic game.
Something that should be mentioned is that the soundtrack changed too much to how it was heard in the previous game, which fans of Lollipop Chainsaw did notice when comparing the two versions of the title, since the type of music was indeed modified. But although this was much better in the previous installment, fans who have never played this franchise would certainly not notice it, due to the fact that it is somewhat adapted to the type of unbridled gameplay we are shown.
As always the remastered versions will have some changes that will make the decision to buy the game or not difficult for fans who played the previous version, but undoubtedly an important factor will be the nostalgia of seeing this old title in a new and more polished version than the previous one. While they can be happy to know that censorship will not be a serious topic of discussion with this version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.
We will have to wait and see if this new version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will receive the same attention as the original version of the game as the days go by, but so far the reception seems to be good. Even with its PC version may come to develop several mods that make our gameplay more aggressive or even more spicy, so let’s hope that the creators of this type of work will not take long to release mods that make the gameplay of this wonderful game more entertaining.
