Just like in Higehiro! Japanese hosts school girl

As every anime fan knows, some years ago the anime adaptation of “Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway” (Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kōsei wo Hirou) caused a lot of commotion in social networks, first because it offered us a “romcom” that fans catalogued as “very particular” and second (perhaps the most important) were the memes around the female protagonist. Today Japan surprises us again with a bizarre situation that reminds us of “Higehiro”.

In Japan, “Higehiro” becomes canon!

It is worth remembering that “Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway” presents the story of Sayu Ogiwara, a girl from Hokkaido who, due to family disagreements, ends up running away from home. Having no money and nowhere to live, she turns to strangers to give her lodging while she pays them by offering a certain service as her hosts. This is until she meets Yoshida with whom she develops a relationship of friendship and unrequited love for him.

Well, this time through a TV program in Japan where they interview people on the street and asked them to show their homes, a case was presented of a guy who had a girl who had run away from home staying in his home. The boy had to explain the situation and commented that the woman was half Japanese and English, she was a student, she had a wealthy family, but she had no friends in Japan, they met on the internet and when she ran away he very kindly offered her a place to stay.

Evidently, this very peculiar and bizarre situation, which can only be possible in Japan, became very popular in forums and social networks where anime fans bought the similarity with the popular anime “Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway”. Many of them commented that Japan is the clear proof that “life is an anime” not only because of this, but also because of the many extravagant situations that occur in that country. Other fans in the same sense said in an ironic tone that although life is an anime, you are not and they are not the main characters.

On the other hand, a sector was very curious and said they hoped that the kind man had no legal problems, because they expected the girl to be of legal age. However, another large sector joked that they hoped this girl would not take the situation as far as it happened in the anime “Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway” although others said it would be great if it was like in the anime.

It seems that situations out of the strangest anime are indeed possible, but only in Japan. So there is no choice but to pack our bags and leave for a new life in Japan. But while this happens, tell us in the comments section what you think of this new anecdote that goes straight to this “strange” section that we like so much about Japan.
