In order to promote the upcoming premiere of its new OVA, the anime adaptation of the Japanese light novel KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) has announced that it will start a collaboration with the company Dezaegg, which will consist in the opening of a “POP UP SHOP” where a curious line of products inspired by the characters Aqua, Megumin, Darkness and Princess Iris will be exhibited.
Something to highlight is that this collaboration between the anime Konosuba! and the Japanese company Dezaegg will present the characters of the series with a curious outfit and, according to the information presented by Dezaegg, it is a swimsuit that has a bunny style, a type of clothing that has become very popular in Japan. According to the information presented in the respective official media of the Japanese company Dezaegg, its new collaboration with the anime series Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! is scheduled to begin in Japan on January 11, 2025 and will end on January 26, 2025.
Some of the products that will be inspired by the characters Aqua, Megumin, Darkness and Iris will be the following: Life Size Tapestries, Acrylic Figures, Acrylic Keychains, Tin Badges, Leather Cases and many more. Information about Konosuba!
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!, abbreviated as “Konosuba!”, is an isekai genre light novel authored by Natsume Akatsuki, while the illustrations are by Kurone Mishima. This fascinating light novel began publication under Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint of Kadokawa Publishing House on October 1, 2013, and concluded its exciting journey on May 1, 2020. During this time, Kadokawa Publishing published a total of 17 volumes, consolidating the narrative of this captivating world.
The story also has a manga adaptation, illustrated by illustrator Masahito Watari. This manga first saw the light of day in the pages of Monthly Dragon Age magazine, under the editorial wing of Fujimi Shobo, starting in September 2014. The literary franchise managed to exceed 10 million copies in circulation and thanks to the good reception of the public, the work had its respective anime adaptation.
On January 13, 2016, the light novel Konosuba! premiered its anime adaptation, which consists of three seasons (31 episodes in total), a movie and two OVAs. The animation studio Studio Deen was in charge of the production of the first two seasons of the series; however, the third season saw a change of animation studio, with the work falling to DRIVE, who was in charge of producing the third season. The series is available legally on the Crunchyroll platform and has English dubbing.
Konosuba! to return in March 2025 with new OVA
Let’s remember that the OVA of the third season of the anime Konosuba! will be released in theaters in Japan on March 14, 2025. In addition, this OVA will be composed of 2 episodes, entitled “Red Stream Explosion!” and “Nisemono Chuui!”.
The anime Konosuba! has the following description: After suffering a laughably pathetic death while returning from buying a game, high school student and recluse Kazuma Satou finds himself sitting before a beautiful but hateful goddess named Aqua.
She gives the NEET two choices: continue on to heaven or be reincarnated into every gamer’s dream: a real fantasy world! Kazuma decides to start a new life and is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing the villages.
