KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) is one of the most recognized franchises in the world of anime, which is why it is not surprising that it has different stories adapted in other media, one of the most popular being the video game called Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! Fantastic Days. And this has become so important that it has had its own manga adaptation, but the bad news was present, as it was confirmed that this will end soon with its fourth volume.
The manga of Konosuba! Fantastic Days will end soon
It was confirmed through official media that the July issue of Kadokawa’s monthly magazine, Comic Alive will publish the final chapter of the manga adaptation of Nexon’s (later Sesisoft and Sumzap) popular cell phone video game: Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! Fantastic Days. With this, the fourth and last volume of this spin-off of the original work of Akatsuki Natsume and Kurone Mishima would be released on July 21, 2024, thus ending a brief but interesting sub-story derived from this great franchise.
In this image you can see the cover of Konosuba Fantastic Days! which was the first volume of this spin-off in which you can find the reincarnated Kazuma, the beautiful singer Lia and the former goddess Aqua filling the spotlight. This volume was in charge of the Japanese publisher Media Factory and consisted of more than 160 pages, while the light novel, on the other hand, consisted of 7 chapters, more than 290 pages and a subsequent English edition by the publisher Yen Press in 2023.
The mobile video game of Konosuba Fantastic Days! was released in February 2020 in Japan and officially launched globally in August 2021. In this title, players will have to control different characters from the series in battles where each of them will use their special abilities, with different scenarios seen in the anime, as well as a very entertaining storyline.
For anyone who doesn’t know the story of Konosuba!!!, it features Kazuma Satou, a reclusive game-loving otaku who died while trying to save a girl from a lurching truck, which turned out to be a slow-moving tractor. In the afterlife, Kazuma met a beautiful self-proclaimed goddess who gave him the choice of starting a new life as a baby, spending a boring eternity in heaven, or reincarnating in a fantasy world with his memories intact.
But the mind of our protagonist resorts to something incredible, as he chooses Aqua, the goddess who gave him the options, to accompany him in his new life, being that having no choice but to fulfill his wish, she is forcibly dragged to accompany Kazuma. In this story we will see them survive in this fantasy world, while meeting new friends like Darkness or Megumin, forming a very special group, however, they are not recognized by their abilities, but by the way they interact with each other. Now they will have to fulfill missions of all kinds, not only to become adventurers, but also to earn money and be able to survive in the world of Konosuba!
