With each new week KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) has been making people talk on social networks, being that in most cases it is because of how well things were done to adapt the story of the light novels to anime. And this week’s episode not only kept the bar high, but was one of the most anticipated by fans, which not only did not disappoint, but was a perfect representation of what many expected. The most recent episode of the Konosuba! anime was what many fans were waiting for.
With chapter 11 released this June 19, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! ended its third season, being that during all the time it was on the air it was one of the best anime of the moment, and with this last chapter the level did not drop to what fans were used to. That is why from the social networks, fans shared their happiness at how well adapted this episode was, with each of the scenes, demonstrating why it was one of the best anime of the spring season 2024.
This episode of Konosuba! started at the same point where the previous one left off, with Kazuma bursting into Darkness‘ wedding to stop her from marrying the nobleman to whom she owed a debt, and now with the mission to escape from him, for that, during the first part of the episode we will see Kazuma’s whole plan in action. Even in these “critical” moments, the comedy that characterizes the anime was present in moments like Megumin wanting to use his magic to destroy the entire city or the villagers joining the cause to rescue Darkness.
And from the networks, many users echoed the Konosuba! episode, commenting their feelings, one of these was this Twitter/X user, who is a veteran reader of the visual novels, as well as the manga, who commented how he waited more than 5 years to see the adapted scenes, feeling extremely happy for the great work done. On the other hand, those who were not up to date with these media and only followed the anime, showed the same level of happiness and even sadness, especially because this was the last chapter so far, without any confirmation of a next season.
Konosuba! is one of the most representative comedy anime of the last years, since it presents a story full of hilarious situations, as well as characters that became iconic thanks to their personality. In this story we meet Kazuma Satou, who after losing his life is transported to a fantasy world. Here he is blessed with the option of choosing anything to start his new life in this universe, but the choice he makes surprises the water goddess Aqua, who would be in charge of reviving him, and our protagonist chooses her.
Having no other choice but to fulfill her wish, Aqua is forcibly dragged to accompany Kazuma, in a story where we will see them survive in this fantasy world, while meeting new friends like Darkness or Megumin, forming a very special group. But they are not recognized by their abilities, but by the way they interact with each other. Now they will have to fulfill missions of all kinds, not only to become adventurers, but also to earn money and survive.
