Konosuba! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) conquered this season with the premiere of its third season of the anime adaptation. There is no denying that every week this work was trending for the content of its episodes, which gave rise to various memes, cheers for adapting the manga well and debates about the plot. Fans undoubtedly enjoyed this season to the fullest, but only a true fan will know this detail shared by a user on Twitter/X about the realm in which the story of KonoSuba is set!
The curiosity of the Belzerg Kingdom of Konosuba! that every fan should know about!
As we mentioned at the beginning, the fans were totally satisfied with the most recent season of KonoSuba!, these fans of the series were mostly active on the social network X/Twitter, where they took on the task of sharing all kinds of content and thoughts about the anime. That’s where we find the user minton010800, who dedicates part of his activity on the network to share curiosities, facts and opinions about the anime.
This time he shared an integral curiosity about the great Belzerg Kingdom that only fans who also read the manga material of KonoSuba! know, to understand this interesting fact we must go back to the origin of this. The Belzerg Kingdom is the country within the KonoSuba! universe where most of the events occur, as the Belzerg Kingdom is the only country whose borders overlap those of the Demon King’s Territory, its border is heavily protected.
To help them, neighboring countries send soldiers to join the border guards and help with defense costs. Undoubtedly this location has been home to many of the adventures that we have loved the most, which is why fans have closely analyzed the light novel KonoSuba! The fact that the user shares with us on social networks is that most of the events in KonoSuba! take place in Belzerg, however, the name “Belzerg” does not appear until Volume 10 of the light novel.
Elrod’s name appears in the prologue of the tenth volume of the novel, so this name appears before “Belzerg”. This peculiar curiosity even has more background, which makes it a cult fact for KonoSuba! fans. Besides the fact that Belzerg appears until the tenth volume, its origin also has to do with pronunciation issues, as originally in Japanese, Belzerg sounds very similar to the word “berserk”.
Many citizens of foreign nations, such as Elroad, consider the kingdom of Belzerg to be mostly filled with barbarians. Moreover, some parts of its territories, such as the Crimson Demon Village, used to belong to the Kingdom of Noise. As we can see, KonoSuba! besides characters that steal our hearts thanks to their personality, also has to offer us an interesting story in terms of geography and history of the kingdom itself.
KonoSuba! offers us a hilarious and captivating story where we find Kazuma Satou, a high school boy who never used to leave home, but when he does, a fateful (and ridiculous) accident ends his life. In the other world a goddess appears before him and proposes him to start his life again in a world of magic and sword, but the conditions are somewhat peculiar, so he will end up starting from scratch as an adventurer and accompanied by a goddess.
From that moment on, Kazuma’s life was never the same again, after his life took a 180 degree turn, he has lived incredible adventures, moments full of adventure accompanied by his cute waifus who are part of his adventure group. Throughout the story Kazuma and company have gone through unforgettable experiences, this peculiar group has completely won the hearts of the fans, who are eager to enjoy more fun adventures.
