A few days ago we shared how the first episodes of the anime Konosuba!, more precisely those of its new season, had been leaked to the public shortly before its premiere, being that many people managed to see it ahead of time. At first there was talk that this could have been a hacking of Crunchyroll‘s servers, but finally it was at an event in Puerto Rico where it had happened. But that was just the beginning, as many other anime were also affected by this fact such as Date a Live V, Sound! Euphonium 3 or Astro Note, causing a stir in the communities.

A few weeks ago the “Comic Con Puerto Rico 2024” was held, where, as usual in recent years, many companies dedicated to anime were present, mostly to show the new series that will be released during this spring season 2024. Among them, undoubtedly the most popular was the Crunchyroll platform, which being one of the largest, has a large catalog of series under its power, and as part of its presentation would release some unreleased episodes of anime.
It is here where the problems began to happen, because although in the beginning several chapters of some of the most recognized series for this season would be presented, everything would be done only for those who attended the event in person, so everything should stay there. But it was that with the passing of a few days, internet users were surprised when two of the first chapters of the third season of KonoSuba: God’s blessing on this wonderful world! were spread through the networks. Although it would not be the only one with this inconvenience, because Sound! Euphonium 3 would also suffer the same.
At first it was thought that Crunchyroll ‘s servers had been affected by hackers, but apparently that theory was discarded, gaining much strength that simply someone who worked at the company’s booth during the event leaked the chapters that are on the internet. Currently the two episodes of the mentioned anime are available, but it is believed that the other anime could also suffer the same fate as they were part of the “Comic Con Puerto Rico 2024”.

On the other hand, the fans of the series that have already had the leak confirmed were those who echoed the event the most, especially showing a very supportive side with the same anime, since they have decided not to watch the leaked episodes in order to maintain a bit of respect. Meanwhile, fans of the other series were a little calmer because, although the danger of the leak is still latent, they are calm, since the season has already started.
Although many have rushed to watch the leaked episodes, those who will wait will not have to do so for long, since the first anime season 2024 has already begun with several series premiering. Even Konosuba!, one of the most affected, will present its first episode on April 10, so, although the second episode is also leaked, fans have chosen to wait a little longer to enjoy it as faithfully as possible.
