With this new spring 2024 season full of premieres, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) is one of the most talked about. And in the last days a news surprised the fans, since they noticed how Aqua’s skirt is getting shorter and shorter, that’s why it was shown how she wouldn’t wear clothes under it, being uncovered, having a lot of similarity with another beloved “waifu”, 2B from NieR: Automata who seems to have the same “problem” in her clothes.

A few days ago we shared with all of you this news where it was shown how Aqua’s skirt, the recognized useless goddess of the anime Konosuba! was getting shorter and shorter over the years and seasons, to the point that it seems that she is not wearing any type of garment under it. With this image, something that came to light is the resemblance she has, at least in how her skirt looks, to another of the most recognized “waifus” of the medium, both anime and video games, we are referring to 2B from NieR: Automata.
And it is that in the different deliveries where the android has made her appearances her thighs were always one of the most representative points, this especially for her outfit, that iconic maid outfit stylized for combat, it is here where this “lack” of garments in her lower part became somewhat evident. Also, many angles in the scenes give the idea that the beloved 2B would not be wearing anything under her skirt, just like how it would look on Aqua herself in Konosuba!
Likewise, a very “racy” H-style video of 2B surfaced a while ago, which played with the idea that the “waifu” of NieR: Automata would not wear anything under her skirt, so the idea of many is that she would have nothing. But the reality is that at least 2B does have her respective garments, being that under her skirt is a white bodysuit that covers her “feminine essence”, although many lose this, since the thighs are so prominent that hide the garment.
As for Aqua, the Konosuba! community is much more divided about what she has under her skirt, since many claim that the goddess has nothing under her skirt, or that if she really has something, she hides it with magic so that no one can see it. While others resort to the light novels, where you can see an image where she would really be wearing lower garments, but the strongest evidence comes from the manga itself, where in a clear scene you can see several of the girls whose skirts have been lifted, with Aqua showing part of what she is wearing underneath.
In conclusion, although both “waifus”, both 2B from NieR: Automata, and Aqua from Konosuba! would seem to have their clothes, the truth is that the same style with which they are designed is so similar that it would give the feeling that they are exempt from any garment under their skirts, so the levels of “rikura” with each one is total. What many are waiting for now is for the NieR: Automata anime to return to continue seeing more of 2B, while the Konosuba! anime is already positioned as one of the best of this season.
NieR: Automata is one of the most important games in the industry, which was developed by Square Enix and directed by the eccentric Yoko Taro, and its story full of existential questions, as well as a frenetic gameplay of real-time combat was the perfect combination for players. But the “waifus” present in this game have also become very iconic, especially the beloved 2B, which, even after the title was released almost 8 years ago, has continued to appear in other franchises, such as The Goddess of Victory: Nikke or Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
Konosuba! is one of the most representative comedy anime of the last years, as it presents a story full of hilarious situations, as well as characters that became iconic thanks to their personality. In this story we meet Kazuma Satou, who after losing his life is transported to a fantasy world. Here he is blessed with the option of choosing anything to start his new life in this universe, but the choice he makes surprises the water goddess Aqua, who would be in charge of reviving him, and our protagonist chooses her, thus beginning a journey full of funny moments.
