The popular comedy and action series Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (Konosuba!) celebrates its tenth anniversary, and the official Twitter account of Kadokawa Sneaker has joined the celebration with a post that has aroused the enthusiasm of the fans.
The post, which anticipates exciting news in honor of the anniversary of the Konosuba!, was accompanied by a charming illustration of the goddess Aqua. The image shows Aqua wearing a dress that enhances her youthful beauty and her flirtatious character, while holding two ice creams in each hand and wiping a bit of ice cream from her mouth with her tongue.
The celebrations for the tenth anniversary begin with Aqua’s birthday, which, according to the lore of the anime, is in August. Synopsis of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (Konosuba!):
Kazuma Satou is a hikikomori living in a rural part of Japan. One day, he decides to leave home to buy a video game as soon as possible. On his way back, he sees a girl about to be run over by a truck and does the unthinkable for him: he saves her, dying heroically, or so he thought.
In reality, he was not run over and died of fright thinking he had been hit by a truck, which was not even a truck, but a slow tractor passing by waving at the young girl, who also did not need help, and just pushed her violently.
His death was so pathetic that even the doctors who examined him mocked him and his family as well. Magically, he awakens in an incredible and unknown hall, where he meets a beautiful goddess named Aqua.
After mocking his ridiculous death, she offers to give him a new life in a parallel and fantasy universe, where he will have incredible adventures, face terrible monsters, learn powerful magics and must defeat a demon king who is the ruler of that world, rising as the hero among heroes.
