The manga “Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!” (Komori-san Can’t Decline!) announced through official media that it will conclude its story this March 27th, after more than 13 years in circulation. Coolkyoushinja, the author behind this endearing story, has made thousands of fans enjoy his characters, and the work has been so popular that it even has its own animated version.

The news of the arrival of the end of Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! came through the April edition of Houbunsha’s magazine, Manga Time Original, this past Tuesday, surprising many fans, who have been following this story since its beginnings in 2012. The series managed to gain a huge fan base, not only following the manga, but in 2015 it had its anime version available on Crunchyroll, which has 12 episodes.
Upon hearing this news, several users of the networks were saddened by the arrival of the end of Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!, since, although the manga has been in circulation for quite some time, they expected to see a little more of their favorite characters. On the other hand, others saw this as a good denouement for a much-loved work, before it begins to generate chapters without any kind of sense. Now we will have to wait if in the future the anime will have a second season or fans can just keep waiting.
If you don’t know Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!, this one introduces us to Komori Shuri, a high school girl with a little “problem”: she can’t say no, so whenever someone asks her for help, she accepts without hesitation, making her the most sought-after person in school. From helping with homework to doing random favors, her kindness is endless. But there’s a twist: thanks to doing so many things for others, she has developed almost superhuman strength and abilities without realizing it. Despite everything, she’s still a sweet and slightly awkward girl who just wants to see others happy.
Although she sometimes feels overwhelmed by so many requests, Komori never loses her smile and always finds a way to get ahead. Her two best friends, Megumi and Masako, accompany her on her crazy adventures, trying to keep her from going overboard helping everyone. The story is a light and relaxing comedy that shows us Komori’s day to day life and her inability to turn down favors, but also how great it is to have such a big heart.
