In recent times, there is no doubt that Genshin Impact, the popular video game developed by HoYoverse, has become one of the most talked about franchises in the otaku community. The love that fans have for the video game’s waifus continues to amaze, and on several occasions we have seen numerous artists display their creativity by integrating some of the anime industry’s waifus into the Genshin Impact universe.
One of these fascinating “crossovers” that has captured the public’s attention is the one featuring Komi Shouko, the endearing character from the popular “Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu” franchise, and Shogun Raiden, the imposing Electro Archon from Inazuma.
Komi-san joins Genshin Impact in tribute to Shogun Raiden
This fascinating illustration was created by internet artist Lihito Kamizawa, who through his official Twitter/X account (@Lihitans__art), has captivated fans of the Genshin Impact and Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu franchises by presenting this intriguing reimagining of Komi-san transforming into Shogun Raiden.
The image offers a unique and detailed view of Komi-san executing the distinctive gesture associated with Shogun Raiden’s ultimate ability in Genshin Impact. In particular, the illustration captures the moment when Komi Shouko emulates the animation of drawing her sword from inside her cleavage, a detail that adds a humorous touch for the reaction of Hitohito Tadano (who has been dressed as the traveler) to this ability of Komi-san.
It seems that the illustrator Lihito Kamizawa has liked this version of Komi-san and over time has been sharing various illustrations with this curious theme that brings together the Shogun Raiden and Komi Shouko as if they were one and the same person.
