The anime adaptation of the light novel “Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen” (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World) has presented to the public new information about its long-awaited second season and, through its official website, confirmed that it will begin broadcasting on television in Japan from July 10 of this year. In addition, the official media of the anime “Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen” presented a visual image for the new installment of the series.

Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen, also known as Our Last Crusade or the Ride of a New World in the West, is an action, fantasy and romance light novel that is written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe. The light novel began its publication in the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko publishing imprint that belongs to Fujimi Shobo Publishing House in May 2017.
The work has a manga adaptation that is handled by Okama and began its serialization in Young Animal magazine of Hakusensha publishing house in May 2018.
The anime adaptation of the light novel “Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World” premiered in Japan on October 9, 2020. The series, produced by animation studio Silver Link, consists of a total of 12 episodes. In addition, the Crunchyroll platform broadcast the anime legally in America and has an English dub.
In the intriguing universe of “Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou“, a mystical force known as the Astral power pervades the world, controlled by skilled astral magicians. In response to this oppression, the tormented mages found the Sovereignty of Nebulis, initiating a bitter conflict that lasts for more than a century between the two nations.

The condition: hunt down a fearsome wizard known as the “Ice Calamity Witch”. Eager to put an end to the protracted war, Iska accepts the challenge. In a twist of fate, the Ice Calamity Witch herself, Aliceliese “Alice” Lou Nebulis XI, shares the desire for peace and is willing to do whatever it takes to defeat the Empire.
While Iska and Alice aspire to a crusade that will transform the world into a place without conflict, their connection goes beyond mere coincidences. Faced with challenges and adversity, the threads of fate intertwine them, creating a bond that could have the power to change the course of history.
