An interesting collaboration with the TV anime “Kanojo, Okarishimasu” (Rent-a-Girlfriend) has been presented to the public in the official media of the company DMM Factory. The collaboration will feature the characters Mami Nanami and Sumi Sakurasawa, who will make the public fall in love with the provocative illustrations of the dakimakuras.

In these irresistible dakimakurasuras we can see how the characters Mami Nanami and Sumi Sakurasawa have been dressed with a bathrobe for the front side of the product and a striking lingerie for the back side. In addition, the illustrations catch the eye of the viewers, who have been captivated by the pose of both waifus and also by their clothing that allows their bodies to be seen in more detail.
Additionally, the company “DMM Factory” provided more details about these attractive dakimakura pillows of Mami Nanami and Sumi Sakurasawa and specified that they will be released for sale in Japan during the month of February 2024. It should be noted that the illustrations of Mami and Sumi were created by Kana Hirayama, the character designer of the anime “Kanojo, Okarishimasu”.
Both dakimakuras will be on sale for 14,300 yen each, equivalent to approximately $94.42 U.S. dollars. Importantly, the Mami Nanami and Sumi Sakurasawa dakimakura pillows will feature generous dimensions, spanning an impressive 160 cm in length and 50 cm in width. This generous measurement provides the buyer with ample space to immerse themselves in the comfort offered by this product.
“Kanojo, Okarishimasu“, known as “Rent-a-Girlfriend” in the West, is a popular romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. The publisher Kodansha began publishing this work in its weekly “Shuukan Shonen Magazine” in July 2017.
Currently, the manga has surpassed an impressive 11 million copies in circulation with 33 volumes published by Kodansha Publishing House and due to the excellent reception by the public, an anime adaptation for the work was announced for production in 2020.
On July 10, 2020, the manga “Kanojo, Okarishimasu” premiered its anime series adaptation, consisting of 3 seasons with a total of 36 episodes. The anime was produced by the animation studio TMS Entertainment under the direction of Kazuomi Koga. The series is available legally on the Crunchyroll platform and has an English dub.
“Kanojo, Okarishimasu” follows the life of Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who has been dumped by his girlfriend and is emotionally devastated. In an attempt to fill the void in his heart, he turns to a mobile app that allows him to rent a girlfriend.
During his search, Kazuya meets Chizuru Mizuhara, who appears to be the perfect girl with stunning looks and a charming personality. However, after their first date, Kazuya finds himself with divided opinions on Chizuru’s profile and, haunted by his previous relationship, believes that she is just playing with men’s feelings, leading him to give her a negative rating.
Enraged by Kazuya’s lack of respect, Chizuru reveals her true nature. However, due to a series of circumstances, Kazuya and Chizuru are forced to maintain a fake relationship, acting as if they are really in love.
As the story progresses, both protagonists face various challenges and comical situations as they struggle to maintain the charade while discovering more about themselves and their true feelings. “Rent-a-Girlfriend” combines romance, comedy and drama to explore the complexities and emotions involved in human relationships.
