On the official website of the company DMM Factory, an attractive collaboration with the TV anime “Kanojo, Okarishimasu” (Rent-a-Girlfriend) has been presented to the public. This interesting collaboration will consist in the elaboration of dakimakuras inspired by the characters Chizuru Mizuhara and Ruka Sarashina, who will attract the public’s attention by showing their most attractive side and thus captivate their hearts.
In both dakimakuras, we will be able to see how Chizuru Mizuhara and Ruka Sarashina have been dressed with a bathrobe in the front illustration and with an irresistible lingerie that will bring out all the physical attractiveness of the waifus for the fortune of the fans of the franchise.
Kanojo, Okarishimasu: Chizuru and Ruka inspire attractive dakimakuras
According to information provided on the official website of the company “DMM Factory“, the attractive dakimakura pillows of Chizuru Mizuhara and Ruka Sarashina are scheduled to be released to the Japanese market during February 2024. The illustrations of Chizuru and Ruka, used on these pillows, were created by Kana Hirayama, the character designer of the anime “Kanojo, Okarishimasu“.
In addition, it has been announced that both pillows will be available at a price of 14,300 yen each, approximately equivalent to $94.42 U.S. dollars. It is relevant to note that the Chizuru Mizuhara and Ruka Sarashina dakimakura pillows will be generously sized, with approximately 160 cm in length and 50 cm in width, giving the buyer ample space to enjoy the comfort that this product offers.
“Kanojo, Okarishimasu“, known as “Rent-a-Girlfriend” in the West, is a popular romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. The publisher Kodansha began publishing this work in its weekly “Shuukan Shonen Magazine” in July 2017.
Currently, the manga has surpassed an impressive 11 million copies in circulation with 33 volumes published by Kodansha Publishing House and due to the excellent reception by the public, an anime adaptation for the work was announced for production in 2020.
On July 10, 2020, the manga “Kanojo, Okarishimasu” premiered its anime series adaptation, consisting of 3 seasons with a total of 36 episodes. The anime was produced by the animation studio TMS Entertainment under the direction of Kazuomi Koga. The series is legally available on the Crunchyroll platform and has a English dub.
“Kanojo, Okarishimasu” follows the life of Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who has been dumped by his girlfriend and is emotionally devastated. In an attempt to fill the void in his heart, he turns to a mobile app that allows him to rent a girlfriend.
During his search, Kazuya meets Chizuru Mizuhara, who appears to be the perfect girl with stunning looks and a charming personality. However, after their first date, Kazuya finds himself with divided opinions on Chizuru’s profile and, haunted by his previous relationship, believes that she is just playing with men’s feelings, leading him to give her a negative rating.
Enraged by Kazuya’s lack of respect, Chizuru reveals her true nature. However, due to a series of circumstances, Kazuya and Chizuru are forced to maintain a fake relationship, acting as if they are really in love.
As the story progresses, both protagonists face various challenges and comical situations as they struggle to maintain the charade while discovering more about themselves and their true feelings. “Rent-a-Girlfriend” combines romance, comedy and drama to explore the complexities and emotions involved in human relationships.
