Japanese publisher Akita Shoten has surprised fans of the yuri and romantic comedy manga Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana by announcing the production of an anime adaptation for this manga. In addition, the opening of an X/Twitter account and an official website for the series was announced. A “concept movie” and a teaser image were shared on these media.

Takashi Sakuma is in charge of directing the anime with Shuntarou Tozawa as his assistant. The animation studio Soigne is in charge of the production of the anime. Kou Yoshinari is in charge of the anime’s character design. Yoko Yonaiyama is in charge of the anime’s scripts. Kana Hashiguchi is in charge of composing the anime’s soundtrack.
