Yumeko Jabani is the protagonist of the manga and anime Kakegurui, a work that stands out for its theme, in addition to the unique expressions of the “waifus” when they are consumed by the ecstasy that causes them to succumb to the gambling game. Therefore, it is our turn to talk about this beloved series and more about this girl, because its protagonist inspires a new figure with a unique expression that will captivate every fan of the character.
Kakegurui’s Yumeko Jabami models new figurine
This new collectible arrives to the delight of all fans of one of the most remembered anime of recent years, we refer in this case to Kakegurui, being that in addition to this we will see that the protagonist is one of the most representative “waifus” that this has, the beautiful Yumeko Jabani. And this figure will stand out from the rest for having a lot of details made with materials of the highest quality, as well as the modeling that will make you fall in love with more than one.
The new figure presents Yumeko Jabami posing on a base that reminds us of a checkerboard. We see her wearing her classic red school uniform while making an expression that conveys her eagerness for the gambling game while holding a poker card. The silhouette of our protagonist is accompanied by a series of subtle details, such as the fact of the effect in her hair that denotes movement and the rain of cards she is the victim of, expressing her excessive passion for the game.

Moving on to more technical details, it should be noted that the figure is painted and does not have joints, which means that it is not movable. In addition, the scale of the design is 1/6, which means that it is 6 times smaller than the official size of the character. To be more precise, the height of the figure is about 330 mm (33 centimeters) or 13 inches in which the base is also included in the measurement.
Kakegurui is a manga series written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura, which currently has 17 collected volumes. The manga series has also inspired several spin-offs including: Kakegurui Twin, Kakegurui Midari and Kakegurui (Kakkokari). Of which the original work and the first two spin-offs mentioned above have been translated into English as they have been licensed by ECC Ediciones.
In addition, the work has inspired two anime adaptations. The first one recreates the original story in two seasons of 12 episodes each, and the second one adapts the manga spin-off: Kakegurui Twin, which also has 12 episodes. Both are available for viewing on the Netflix platform.
The story places us in the Hyakkaou Private Academy where students play gambling, demonstrating their skills to manipulate. It is in this context that we are introduced to Yumeko Jabami, a recent transfer student whose motive for gambling lies not in money, but in the thrill she gets from gambling. Her unorthodox methods make her stand out and become a participant in various games where more than just money is at stake.
