A couple of hours ago @anime_argentina shared a curious image where we can see the protagonist of the series Jujutsu Kaisen, the charismatic Yuji Itadori makes an unprecedented appearance in the 113th chapter of DC Comic’s Nightwing. There is no doubt that the most popular anime in the world (it is already part of the “Guinness Book of Records”) never ceases to amaze us.

In the image we can see a large crowd in front of a pizzeria. What catches our attention is a character located in front of the windows of the place, that’s right, that character that seems to be sneaking with a huge pizza in his hands is none other than Yuji Itadori from the series of wizards Jujutsu Kaisen.
We can see Yuji with a mocking expression, his eyes are not even looking straight ahead, they are looking to the side giving us to understand that at any moment he will run away with that delicious pizza. On the other hand, the wizard’s pose is a bit upright, giving the impression that he is standing on his tiptoes and very careful not to be caught by anyone.
How did we know it was him? Easy, his wizard costume is unmistakable and we have him well identified thanks to the Jujutsu Kaisen anime/manga, we can notice that characteristic blue color and his unmistakable red shoes that combine with the hood of his sweatshirt, in addition we could not miss his very striking pink hair, which is already a fundamental part of his appearance.
It is incredible how great artists show us in their works small cameos of characters they admire, it makes us think that it would be crazy to witness the interaction of works so different from each other, but thanks to works like this, we can appreciate a cameo as striking as the one we have just witnessed. The character of Jujutsu Kaisen was taken and adapted to a totally different style and environment than his original work.
Itadori was presented with the unique style that DC Comic’s works have. We can notice it in the bright colors and the drawing style where the shadows stand out, we can notice how each character that appears in the image has its own identity: each person wearing different clothes, the styles vary from one character to another and if you pay a little more attention you can notice how the image comes to life by itself.
From characters in shirts and ties to more flamboyant characters with white hair or wearing black jackets that are steeped in style, we can say that this panel is brimming with creativity and a unique personality that has managed to surprise both comic book fans and anime fans alike.
The incredible crossover they gave us of Jujutsu Kaisen with Nightwing will definitely be captured in the hearts of fans. Currently the story of Itadori is one of the most beloved anime among the community. Its world of sorcerers and curses has made fans fall in love with it, the supernatural and gloomy aura of its wonderful world has captivated us along with its wonderful humor that has made us smile more than once. You haven’t forgotten how Itadori ate a finger, have you?
