In 2024, one of the most representative works of the manga world came to an end, we refer in this case to Jujutsu Kaisen, this story that caught thousands and thanks to its popularity even got an anime adaptation, but as expected from such a popular work, its ending left many unsatisfied. But apparently, what would remain as an anecdote of a disappointing ending for the community has added a new chapter, as a fan decided to create his own project, in this case a new manga called “Jujutsu no Kaisen” which will have the ending that everyone wants, so the controversy was not long in coming.

“Jujutsu no Kaisen” comes to give Jujutsu Kaisen a ‘dignified’ ending.
Through Twitter/X it has been shared from an “official” account what will be a new work that seeks to change the ending for one of the most important works in the world of manga such as Jujutsu Kaisen, but in this case it is a new manga, which is developed by a fan. With the name “Jujutsu no Kaisen”, this project that will be launched gradually, will show a new outcome for the story, which has not yet been revealed what will be the new change, but with the first chapter we can see that it starts from the final battle against Sukuna and the death of Gojo.
And although it emerged as a work done exclusively by fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, the controversy was not long in coming, since, apparently, other users who were against the creation of this manga pointed out not only the poor work of the illustrations, but they believe that AI was used in the creation of the manga. In addition, they mention that the creation of this project is an insult to the original author of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami, since being against the ending and showing it on the networks is far from creating a new work that seeks to change the original outcome, along with the fact that Gege did not speak out about what happened.
After receiving a great amount of hate in the networks, the author of Jujutsu no Kaisen began to make different publications in his Twitter/X account, being that the most repeated is the one where he mentions that his project does not seek to discredit the original work seen in Jujutsu Kaisen. The author of this manga commented that this new ending will have a first chapter that will be separated into two parts, the first one already available from his own website and the second one to be released at some point in the future.
Now we will only have to wait for the release of more chapters, being that the release of this new ending for Jujutsu Kaisen, although not official, was soon at the center of controversy, especially for the belief that this is disrespectful to the original creator of the work. In addition, the use of AI and the copying of many panels from the original work, makes this a project that not only did not go unnoticed, but that will give a lot to talk about in the coming days.
