Since a few days ago the popular manga Jujutsu Kaisen finished its story, and while waiting for new news regarding its anime adaptation that will continue with what happened in the plot, fans will have a little relief in terms of their wait. At some point in 2024, a new video game will be released under the name “Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade”, which promises to be an excellent experience with our favorite characters such as Itadori, Gojo or Nobara among many others.
This new game will be a turn-based combat game where each attack will be decisive in order to obtain victory, so we will have to measure what skill we will use to end the different curses that will be present in the title, besides this will have its own original story, so it will be a breath of fresh air for fans. On the other hand, as part of the pre-registration that is already available, the developers proposed different goals, being that with each certain number of fans that join the registration, they will deliver different prizes when the game is launched.
As we mentioned, an exact release date for this title is not yet known, only that it will make its debut sometime in 2024 and that it will be available for mobile devices for free. Now fans will have to wait for new news to learn a little more about this new Jujutsu Kaisen game that seeks to continue the franchise’s legacy.
The Jujutsu Kaisen franchise also called JJK, has more than 25 manga volumes by the 32-year-old author Gege Akutami, in addition to 2 anime adaptations, a first season of 25 episodes and a second of 23 episodes. The second season had a better score on the specialized anime site My Anime List with 8.8 and the first one barely surpassed 8.5, Akutami’s work also features the adaptation of JJK 0, a very intriguing feature film of just over 100 minutes long and which was well rated, all adaptations made by Studio MAPPA.
Jujutsu Kaisen along with the studios that adapted it, MAPPA, received the Guinness World Record for being the most popular series of all time, surpassing others like One Piece and even Dragon Ball and causing a huge impact among modern and “old school” anime fans. For its part, MAPPA has been responsible for great works such as the JJK franchise, Kakegurui, Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, Chainsaw Man, Hell’s Paradise, Yuri!!!! On Ice and Banana Fish, placing all its series always in the top of the top in each anime season that starts.
