With the arrival of new technologies and the boom that anime series are having nowadays, new scenarios that we would never have imagined to see in real life are emerging in Japan, even no one would have thought that young people could study in a world like the metaverse and even graduate through it, but in a very fun, interesting way and dressing up as your favorite waifu.
You can now study in the metaverse in Japan
It turns out that in social networks (X/Twitter) an account became very popular because it is the account of a new education institute in Japan that is recruiting new students to enroll in their school, but this is special because it is a virtual school in the metaverse and not in a physical school in Japan, so this has attracted the curiosity of many Internet users because of the way classes will be taught.
This is because you will only need a virtual reality equipment to attend this school in Japan and you can even have the opportunity to choose which avatar you want to take class (obviously respecting certain guidelines) and certainly the idea that one attends school without leaving the comfort of your home sounds interesting and you could even live with your classmates after class, but this is not the only thing offered by this Japanese institute.
The Yuushi Kokusai Institute’s social media promotion states that they will be providing individual lessons for each student, giving preparations to take the entrance exams to Tokyo University and even the most striking part of their curriculum is that anyone can learn programming from basic to university level, so it will certainly be an enriching and novel experience for those Japanese students who decide to attend.
The creator behind the institute, Yuushi Kokusai spoke about why he decided to create this new school: In an environment where we only communicate with a limited number of people in exchange for immediate peace of mind, we sometimes feel anxious about whether we will be able to survive in society in the future. Meeting someone you don’t know, befriending them, creating something together and discussing things together is a valuable learning experience that can only be realized while you are still in high school.
In the words of the creator of this institute, it was created with the purpose of creating an environment that generates confidence in young Japanese, where they are not afraid to fail and be very successful in the future, discovering their strengths and skills that have not yet discovered, so no doubt this will be a great alternative to conventional study processes and many people will no longer be limited to the problems that can be generated from these processes, so hopefully this new institute will become very popular.
Well, this news was something that we did not expect to see today, but it is already becoming a reality in Japan and who knows, if this school works, maybe some international company will decide to apply the same study method to create a new school in which students can attend without leaving their homes and with this method many expenses and investments that occur in conventional schools are saved, so it will only be a matter of time before it is implemented in several countries.
