In a store in Japan, the workers, tired of so many shoplifters, used an effective way to keep this problem at bay by using a somewhat peculiar sign. A certain Twitter/X user presents this funny measure against shoplifters, a striking sign with the legendary “Riko” panel of Kuso Miso Technique and a very clear message: “What you take without paying, with your body you will pay”.
Store in Japan surprises customers with a rather peculiar measure to stop theft
In an update from the user “@Sandman” on the Twitter/X social network, where he points out that already in Japan the measures against theft are reaching unsuspected extremes. In a comical and desperate measure to prevent shoplifting inside a certain store in Japan, a sign starring the mythical Kuso Miso Technique panel has been put up, claiming, “If you shoplift, with your body you will pay.”
Fans make constant jokes in the comments section of the social network: “Have you shoplifted, Sandman-san, it would be a good method if the shopkeeper is a handsome guy”, “can you imagine that shoplifting, instead of decreasing, increases”, “it is a good method of payment when you don’t have a dollar on you”. They agree that the measure could be counterproductive depending on who attends the cash register, it could cause the opposite effect and attract customers.
This type of measure is not surprising, since in convenience stores in Japan it is a common practice to steal small products, although not very expensive and relevant, they are still losses for these establishments. The most common way to prevent this is to have security cameras or a security guard who can see the cameras. This method for “no theft” can really attract customers and create many publications like this one, which amuse the public so much. In other news from Japan, shy girls like Bocchi of Bocchi the Rock! are shown to be the canon of beauty, something we cover in this article.
Many times they can be made as a store attraction, as a joke for those who are committing these crimes. In this part of the world it is usual to see signs with sayings, dialogues and slogans with peculiarities unique to Spanish speakers, so it may be surprising to see that the Japanese also have such signs in their stores.
Returning to the mythical panel of Kuso Miso Technique, this was very much related to memes of the early 2010s, where no one knew it belonged to this manga from 1987, its author Junichi Yamakawa only wrote one volume for this story. Without realizing it, he would create in one of his panels a face that has gone around the world, now appearing on posters as a joke for his customers. One of the first manga of love between men pioneers of the genre.
