The long-awaited rebirth of hyper dimensional soccer! – Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

It was thanks to Level-5 itself, creators of popular transmedia franchises such as Yokai Watch, Professor Layton and Ni no Kuni among others, that we were able to know the exact figure that the beta had reached since its launch on Nintendo Switch last February 27. Thus, through a tweet shared a few days ago, we learned that the demo had been downloaded by more than half a million people, a figure that has continued to rise given the growing popularity of the game on streaming platforms:

Similarly, we were able to access the date on which the demo of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will no longer be available for Nintendo Switch users. According to the game’s website (beta), this would be scheduled to end on June 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. (GMT time). It is here where the extensive test will have ended for these users, possibly coinciding with the time of year when the final release date for this coveted title could be revealed.

At the same time, it was confirmed that once the first stage of the beta is over, the second phase will be opened; which will be available for PlayStation and compatible (PC) users, as well as allowing the debut of the crossplay and cross save system that Level-5 developers plan to implement. In this way, all the platforms confirmed for the launch would be covered and users would be able to look forward to the final release. Moreover, with this, it is expected that the numbers obtained so far will only multiply more and more, not only for the remainder of the current beta, but also for the expansion to other well-known consoles.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

In case this is your first approach to the franchise, you should know that the Inazuma Eleven saga and its next release called Victory Road, belong to a soccer RPG saga released for Nintendo DS in 2008. It mixes the tactics of the real sport with techniques taken from the most imaginative fan of sagas such as Super Champions or Shaolin Soccer.

In addition, this franchise is well recognized by the public thanks to having had several animated series that helped to increase its popularity worldwide, which is why many people, in addition to the existence of this type of video games, know Inazuma Eleven for its animation. And although this is the most current game of the saga, in the past it has already made inroads with other installments, such as the one that started everything in 2008 and that we mentioned before, and in the future more installments are expected to make their debut.
