Within the world of gacha video games, one of the biggest developers is undoubtedly HoYoverse, which has behind it big names such as Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin Impact. Now, fans have noticed a constant in these three games and that put them to debate about the future of the company in a rather curious way.
They used music to promote several of their new characters, whether it was Genshin Impact with Xilonen, Honkai Star Rail with Rappa or the most viral of the three, Zenless Zone Zero with Burnice. Thanks to this, many fans are already starting to mention that if the Chinese company gets into the world of music, it would have a good future.
HoYoverse and its promotional musicals spark debate in the networks
HoYoverse is characterized by generating a lot of content for their video games, being that when announcing new characters or content, they usually present them on social networks in all kinds of ways, but apparently many fans have noticed a constant that is repeated in their latest promotional videos: music. And it is that in these months, for the presentation of several new characters, catchy songs were created, so many fans have begun to discuss that if HoYoverse is launched in the world of music, they would do well.
Among these characters we find two where music can not only be heard in their presentation, but the very aesthetics of these characters and their story is closely linked to this world: Xilonen from Genshin Impact and Rappa from Honkai Star Rail. The former, in her presentation video, performs a very catchy song, even rapping and using a DJ console, an object that is also present in her gameplay. Secondly, Rappa is also a DJ, being that in this case even the singer Reol was used to perform her song.
And finally we find the most popular of all, a girl whose promotional video went viral in the networks, not only for its incredible clip that mixes comedy with music, but also for its catchy song that made it be heard in several platforms: Burnice by Zenless Zone Zero. All these video presentations managed to get a lot of views, and many fans believe that it is due to the good management that HoYoverse has to create musical pieces.
That is why many believe that if the Chinese company focused only on making music, they would do very well, and although in the past they already used many songs as a presentation or to promote themselves, as time went by they put much more emphasis on making the songs used more catchy. One of the strongest examples of this was with Robin from Honkai Star Rail, a singer who, as part of her repertoire of attacks, has her own song that plays within the game.
These are the points that many fans in the networks used to refute the idea of the Chinese company and although, as we mentioned before, HoYoverse was already using music for its promotional videos, it seems that this has grown. Now we will have to wait to know the future videos, and if the level of music production will be at the same level of what has been seen in the last time and, as we know, these three titles will still continue to receive updates with new characters, which will have their own promotional videos.
