The premiere of the first episode of the second season of the anime “Girlfriend, Girlfriend” (Kanojo mo Kanojo) has put an end to a long wait that fans of this franchise had to go through since the end of the first season of the series.
After the end of the broadcast of this episode, the official website of the anime “Girlfriend, Girlfriend” has made an update in its sections and has enabled the section dedicated to the Blu-Ray volumes of its respective second season. With the opening of this new section, the number of episodes that will make up the new season of “Kanojo mo Kanojo” has been announced.
Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 2 will have 12 Episodes in total.
According to the information provided on the official website of the anime “Girlfriend, Girlfriend” the second season of the series will be composed of a total of 12 episodes, which will be distributed in 2 Blu-Ray volumes. Along with this information, the release date of these packages has also been presented:
- The first Blu-Ray volume is scheduled for release on February 2, 2024 in Japan, and will cover the first six episodes of the series’ second season.
- The second Blu-Ray volume will be released on March 6, 2024 in Japan and will include episodes 7 to 12 of the series’ second season.

The new installment of the anime Girlfriend Girlfriend is produced by the animation studio SynergySP (replacing the studio Tezuka Productions) and is legally simulcast through the Crunchyroll platform.
The anime “Kanojo mo Kanojo” immerses us in a story where the complexities of love and relationships are uniquely intertwined. Faced with the opportunity to fulfill both Saki and Nagisa’s wishes, Naoya proposes an unusual solution: have a relationship with both girls at the same time, as long as both are fully aware and in agreement.
This bold proposal gives rise to a series of extraordinary and comical situations in the lives of Naoya, Saki and Nagisa. As they attempt to navigate this unconventional relationship, they become entangled in a spiral of hilarious moments and entanglements.
