Before this situation, the merchant and our girl have to stay in a religious mission. When they get to their room, they proceed to change their attire. It is here where Holo and Kraft have a very pleasant conversation while the viewers are shown one of the most spicy situations of the anime.
It is precisely this scene from “Spice and Wolf” that fans have taken to compare with the original 2008 anime, where we can see the clear differences in animation, strokes and colors in this new 2024 adaptation. Evidently, the reaction of Holo fans has been of pleasure, as several comment that this new adaptation is greatly improving the quality delivered by the original work. Thus begins the encounter between Holo and Kraft who, motivated by their respective goals, embark on a new journey together, which will make them understand the passage of time and how the wisdom gained through experience is fundamental.
“Spice And Wolf” immerses us in the fascinating story of Holo, a deity more than 600 years old who has made a pact with the villagers to watch over the wheat crops of the town of Pasroe, in order to have good harvests every year. With the passage of time and although the goddess has faithfully fulfilled her promise, the belief in the powers and favors of this Holo in the form of a she-wolf has faded among the inhabitants. Seeing this, Holo considers leaving the town and returning to her home in the north, as she no longer has any motivation to keep her promise.
