In order to build up fan hype for its release, the official media for the movie project based on the smartphone video game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku, titled Project Sekai Movie: Kowareta Sekai to Utaenai Miku (Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing), has shared a new promotional video.
The new promotional video for the film Project Sekai Movie: Kowareta Sekai to Utaenai Miku presents a preview of the work that the animation studio P.A. Works is doing with this film, which is scheduled to be released in Japan on January 17, 2025.
Hatsune Miku Movie Prepares for Release with Incredible Trailer
The film will be directed by Hiroyuki Hata. As previously mentioned, the animation studio P.A. Works will be in charge of the film’s production. Yoko Yonaiyama will be responsible for writing the film’s scripts. Yuki Akiyama and Masatoshi Tsuji will be the chief animation directors and will be in charge of the film’s character design. Satoshi Hono will be in charge of composing the film’s soundtrack.

Project Sekai Movie: Kowareta Sekai to Utaenai Miku has the following description: Set in present-day Shibuya, Project Sekai Movie: Kowareta Sekai to Utaenai Miku centers on Ichika Hoshino, a high school girl and street musician who encounters an unknown version of Hatsune Miku after hearing a Miku song she has never heard before in a CD store. Ichika learns that this version of Miku is having trouble reaching people with her songs, so together they team up to try to touch the hearts of her audience through music.
