The popular Hamefura franchise is about to train a new video game (be prepared for an overly long title): My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! -Pirates of the Disturbance- is the latest installment in the saga of video games of the otome genre (romantic visual novels aimed at a female audience). This time, Catarina Claes and Keith get involved with pirates when they board a transatlantic cruise ship that is attacked by a crew that takes its passengers hostage. Although, as is to be expected for this saga, Catarina will be able to go about establishing romantic relationships with 6 of the attractive pirates.

It should be noted that My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! -Pirates of the Disturbance had already been released in Japan exclusively for Nintendo Switch on December 23, 2021 (That’s right! Almost 2 years ago!) but is only now about to be released in the rest of the world with English text and subtitles. Given the recent popularity of the Hamefura saga, especially thanks to its anime adaptation, it makes perfect sense that Idea Factory is looking to appeal to its new Western audience with ostentatious Limited Editions like this one.
