GTA VI and its impressive second trailer has been one of the main topics in the gaming community in recent days, not only for the quality and graphic leap that it means. But also for the story it presents us with by showing the first title of the franchise with a couple of criminals (Jason and Lucia) as protagonists in one of the largest open worlds ever presented in other video games. Although it was officially delayed for May 2026, the developer, Rockstar Games of Take-Two, already has good impressions for GTA VI and although the graphic, sound and story details are the most important, you surely missed some relevant ones that we list here.
Second GTA VI trailer released with Latin subtitles
Through its official YouTube channels, Rockstar Games released on May 6 the second trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI, however, the dedicated channel for Latin America launched its version without delay with subtitles in Latin Spanish. This has surprised not only fans of the game, but also those who usually watch previews of any videogame, as these are released with Spanish versions in Castilian Spanish (Spain) and often come out with delays. That is to say, days after the original release of the trailer, Rockstar has not forgotten its huge Latin audience and managed to captivate the huge fan base that did not expect this nice surprise.
Rockstar Games is committed to (and obsessed with) realistic graphics
Over the generations we have gone through different graphics engines, but the ones that have had the greatest impact on the industry are Unity, Unreal Engine 4 and the current generation’s Unreal Engine 5. Although we thought we had reached a graphic ceiling that could not be exceeded in the current generation with titles such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, GTA VI arrives with a couple of previews showing that it is at a higher level than the previous ones.
The title from Take-Two, who developed Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, had to demonstrate that they are committed to the graphic quality that characterizes them, being at least Red Dead Redemption 2 the game with the best graphics in history. Grand Theft Auto 6 will use its own engine called RAGE, which has been used since GTA IV and this time RAGE 9 will be implemented for its pure realism, having a free way to be the video game with the best graphics for the pure realism that shows in every frame of its progress.
The first songs revealed in the preview
The Grand Theft Auto titles have a very peculiar feature and are the songs that are heard on the radios and that began to become even more trendy with the delivery of GTA San Andreas, where the soundtrack was one of the best as well as GTA V, which was adapted to the different suburbs of the video game. Sky, Sea and Land: The vehicles that Lucia and Jason will have at their fingertips
Grand Theft Auto wouldn’t have that amazing title without the mechanics that have characterized it since its first installments: Stealing vehicles wholesale. More than Vice City: Locations to visit
Vice City will once again be the protagonist of a GTA videogame in the sixth installment, but this time, the city will have almost a life of its own with a lot of chaos, brightness and full of lights in neon tones. This new version of Vice City will show different suburbs and a mix of neighborhoods as we have seen in previous installments of these Rockstar Games titles. From neighborhoods with unique personalities, to suburbs with many luxuries, as well as areas, marginal, illegal, commercial, ports and endless possibilities that GTA VI will offer us.
Leonida Keys will seek to compete with San Andreas in terms of map extension. This new installment of Grand Theft Auto will not only retake small aspects of other deliveries, but also compete in open world ambition. Taking up the open world of San Andreas, one of the franchise’s broadest, Leonida Keys wants to compete with and surpass one of the most endearing GTA titles. Being a tropical archipelago with beautiful, but treacherous waters, ideal for inter-island smuggling, Leonida Cays may be great for exploration, but it will be fraught with danger.
Grassrivers will be one of the most challenging locations in GTA VI, located south of the open world, it is an area full of wetlands and cloudy skies. Dominated by alligators, there are rumors that there are more “dangers” underneath this huge swamp, could GTA VI include supernatural elements or treasure hunts? Grassrivers is certainly a landscape for missions full of mystery and adrenaline.
A story that transcends any Grand Theft Auto
Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval are the protagonists of the story and both will have the same level of relevance, a story of chaos and love in the heart of Vice City will be the perfect combination for GTA VI to have one of the best, if not the best story of any title in Rockstar’s franchise. Lucia, as can be seen in the second story trailer, has recently been released from a prison sentence and is picked up by Jason, her love partner in prison. After some time and after meeting some other characters, they both start committing heists, until they become an interesting criminal couple unprecedented in Grand Theft Auto.
GTA VI suffered a delay of more than a year, but it already has a release date for next May 26, 2026 on next-gen consoles such as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. A release date for PC was not announced, nor if there will be a version for Nintendo Switch 2, however, it can already be added to the Wishlist. GTA VI has generated many opinions, but most of them are positive because of the graphic quality and the story of love and chaos that Lu and D have to offer us.
