Grand Theft Auto VI is arguably the most anticipated video game in the entire industry. After all, it recently marked 10 years since the release of the previous installment, Grand Theft Auto V, and fans have been speculating when the next game would be announced for many years. But the wait is over, as Rockstar Games has just released a special announcement confirming when the first trailer for this colossal video game will be released. And the best part? It’s much sooner than we expected.
The Grand Theft Auto VI trailer is getting closer…
Through its official Twitter account, Rockstar Games released a special statement to announce Grand Theft Auto VI: “Next month marks Rockstar Games’ 25th Anniversary. Many thanks to the incredible support from our players around the world. We have had the opportunity to create games that we are truly passionate about. Without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to everyone for sharing this journey with us. In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could become as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope we have created titles you love,” reads the first part of the tweet chain.
But the most interesting part of the statement is in the last tweet, which says: “We are very excited to tell you that, in early December, we will be releasing the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to sharing all these experiences with all of you for many years to come. Thank you. Sam Houser” concluded the Rockstar Games founder, confirming that the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is surprisingly close. In less than a month we will have our first look at this highly anticipated game!
Expectations for Grand Theft Auto VI are simply enormous, and while this first trailer will be very exciting for gamers around the world, it will also be judged very carefully. This title has been in development for many, many years, and the wait has gone on forever for many fans, so hopefully Rockstar Games has taken the time to create an amazing product that will make a very good first impression. After so much anticipation, they run the risk of disappointing many fans if this first trailer fails to impress them.
It should be remembered that some images of Grand Theft Auto VI were leaked a few months ago, so we can already get a good idea of what the game will be like. Also, the initial release of Grand Theft Auto V in 2011 was very well received. If Rockstar Games can replicate that same success and blow everyone’s minds with the first GTA VI trailer, we wouldn’t be surprised if this new installment sells as many units as the previous one.
