In the official media dedicated to the anime adaptation of the light novel “Goblin Slayer“, the official cover of the third compilation volume in Blu-Ray/DVD format corresponding to the second season of the series has been revealed.
This time, the featured characters on the cover will be the protagonist, Goblin Slayer, and the voluptuous and beautiful Archbishop of the Supreme God, Sword Maiden, also known as “The Sword Maiden“. In addition, the cover illustration was created by Noboru Kannatsuki, the illustrator of the original light novel.

According to the information provided in the Blu-Ray/DVD volumes section of the official Goblin Slayer Season 2 website, this package is scheduled to be released in Japan on March 27th of this year. This volume will include episodes 9 to 12 of the second season of the series.
The Blu-Ray version will be available for purchase at a price of 14,300 yen, while the DVD version will be available at a price of 12,100 yen.
It is important to note that the second season of “Goblin Slayer” premiered on Japanese television on October 6, 2023 and was broadcast simultaneously and legally through the Crunchyroll platform, which also worked on the production of an English dub. This new installment consisted of a total of 12 episodes, which will be distributed in 3 volumes in both Blu-Ray and DVD formats.
The production team involved in “Goblin Slayer Season 2” is as follows: Takaharu Ozaki has been appointed as the chief director for the second season of the anime. Meanwhile, Misato Takada led the direction of this installment. The animation studio in charge will be Liden Films. In addition, Hideyuki Kurata was in charge of compositing, while Hiromi Kato contributed her talent in character design. To complete the creative team, Kenichiro Suehiro was in charge of composing the soundtrack for this long-awaited second season.
