Yotsuba Go Toubun No Hanayome

The premiere of the romantic comedy, popularly known as The Quintillizas, quickly became one of the favorites, as it did not limit itself to the typical love triangle, but took the harem to the fifth level and with the waifus it presented, it was to be expected. These days an event was held to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Go-Toubun no Hanayome, where it was announced that the beautiful quintuplets will return very soon.

This is a new project, but to the relief of fans, it will be written and supervised by manga author Negi Haruba, telling an original story of which it has only been revealed that it will focus on the protagonist Fuutarou Uesugi’s honeymoon with the Nakano sisters. However, it seems that this has puzzled some fans, but it was clear that they all had to be included in one way or another, because it seems that this has been the key to its success.

We all know that the story of Go-Toubun no Hanayome left a definite ending, that is, although it included harem in the plot, in the end only one girl, Yotsuba, was chosen, and that most of the fans disagreed with this decision, since they had already formed teams that supported their favorite quintuplet and that in any case they would have preferred to see them all happy rather than see them cry.

This obviously did not go unnoticed, as the announcement of this new project generated a debate among fans who were first confused by the description of it, pointing out that it was something that did not make sense if it is about the honeymoon and if only one quintuplet was the “winner”, on the other hand, also this idea has been branded as another attempt to continue “squeezing” every last penny that Go-Toubun no Hanayome can generate and extending the story.

Finally, this upcoming Go-Toubun no Hanayome project has been labeled as unnecessary, and among the comments read: “A story where each of the girls tries to seduce a married man. I don’t understand the point of the sisters continuing to meddle in Futaro and Yotsuba’s married life, what’s the point?”, “The solution is simply to make routes where each of them has their victory. These production people simply have no idea what to do. “and “That thing about the sisters following Yotsuba to her honeymoon seems most terrifying and nonsensical to me.”

“So does it mean that the girls who lost are unable to move on with their lives and want to keep begging Futaro? How else do they want to humiliate them?” These are just some of the comments that can be read from Go-Toubun no Hanayome fans. Tell us, what do you think about this new project of The Quintillizas, necessary or unnecessary?
