“Go-Toubun no Hanayome” chronicles the life of Fuutarou Uesugi, a high school student whose existence is marked by economic hardship and a loneliness brought on by his aloof personality. Things get even more complicated when Fuutarou is presented with an opportunity to pay off family debts through a job as a private tutor that offers a salary five times higher than average. However, he discovers that his student is none other than Itsuki, the same girl with whom he had previously quarreled.
