Japanese publisher Shogakukan has shared incredible news for fans of Nikumura Q‘s Giant Ojousama manga. Today it was announced that this comedy and ecchi manga will have an anime series adaptation, which will be produced by the animation studio Tatsunoko Production. This news was also shared on Nikumura Q’s official X/Twitter account, where an image starring the character Oriko Fujidou was presented to the public. New information about the anime Giant Ojousama will be released soon.

Giant Ojousama is a comedy ecchi manga that is written and illustrated by Nikumura Q. The manga began to be published in the Sunday Webry service of Japanese publisher Shogakukan since July 2021. Currently, Nikumura Q’s manga is still in serialization and has 9 compilation volumes. In addition, Shogakukan publisher confirmed that the compilation volume #10 of the Giant Ojousama manga will be published on March 12, 2025.
The manga Giant Ojousama has the following description: Oriko Fujidou, daughter of the powerful Fujidou conglomerate – a world leader in the development and distribution of vending machines – was given an entire city by her father at the age of four. For the past ten years, she has devoted herself to its growth and prosperity.
However, the city’s peaceful days come to an abrupt end when a huge unidentified invader attacks. In a desperate attempt to defend himself, his loyal butler, Dr. Sebastian, gives Oriko a newly developed energy drink. The moment he drinks it, his body grows to an imposing size, surpassing even skyscrapers. Although he struggles at first, he eventually manages to repel the invader.
But the attacks do not stop. Whenever a new threat arises, Oriko transforms himself back into a giant to protect the city he has cultivated with his own hands.
