The video game Overwatch 2 has quickly positioned itself as one of the most important Free To Play shooters of the moment, which is why the arrival of season number 15 has generated great excitement, mainly because of the skins and new features that we have in its battle pass.
Overwatch 2 season 15 battle pass
From the very first level of the Overwatch 2 battle pass, the rewards are more than enough to justify its purchase. The first skin we unlocked is “Rainy Day” for Kiriko, a look that radiates tenderness and style. Her red hair creates a perfect contrast with her blue-toned outfit, and the ensemble is complemented by adorable details like her pink fox boots and other accessories that elevate her charm even more. Undoubtedly, a skin that will delight fans of “kawaii” aesthetics and becomes a must-have for those who enjoy playing with Kiriko.
But this is just the beginning, because when you purchase the battle pass, you unlock an incredible repertoire of skins that completely transform the appearance of several heroes. Among the most outstanding ones we find:
- Goumang para Hanzo:
- Cybernetics Recruit for Zarya
- Sindri for Torbjörn
- Tianma to Lúcio:
- Toxic to Venture
- Suanni for Mei
- Bian for Orisa
What’s new in season 15
One of the main new features of the Overwatch 2 Season 15 update is the return of loot boxes, an iconic element of the first version of the game. With this update, players will be able to obtain up to three loot boxes each week by completing up to 27 matches, with victories counting double. These boxes contain a selection of cosmetic items from both Overwatch and Overwatch 2, allowing players to expand their collection with skins, gestures, sprays and other visual elements.
In addition, the reward system has been integrated with the battle pass. Players who advance in the free battle pass will receive a legendary loot box, while those who purchase the premium battle pass can get up to two additional legendary loot boxes.
The percentage of appearances are:
- Legendary: 5,1 %
- Epic: 21,93%
- Nu: 96,26 %
- Common: 97,97%
Another major new feature of Season 15 is the introduction of the perk system, a mechanic that adds greater dynamism to the games by allowing the rules of the confrontation to be slightly modified. This upgrade system will be available both in Quick Matches and in Competitive mode, offering players the possibility of strategically empowering their heroes during the course of the game.
The way the perks work is simple and accessible; as the game progresses, players will be able to unlock upgrades that will increase their character’s power, allowing them to better adapt to each combat situation. These perks can include improvements in damage, stamina, movement speed or even special abilities that reinforce each hero’s play style.
However, it is important to note that the progress of these perks is temporary. Each time a player changes heroes, the new selected character will start from level 1 of perks, without keeping the previously obtained upgrades. The level progress of each hero will only be available during the current game, with a maximum limit of level 3.
