Both Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail are two of the most popular gacha-style video games in the genre, and although they have many differences, they have something in common: they were developed by the Chinese company Hoyoverse, so fans tend to compete to see which is the best title from the developer. And now, to get that throne, two of the most beloved characters from each of the titles, Pom-Pom from Honkai Star Rail and Paimon from Genshin Impact, have dueled in a fun video that was shared on social networks.

Through social networks, such as @GenshinImpactOC on Twitter/X, a video was shared that caused a sensation among fans of two of the most popular free-to-play gacha-style video games of all, Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, and in it we can see Pom-Pom and Paimon. The video is relevant, since they are usually the most recognized faces of the titles and they have very similar roles in both of them, the first one being the ticket collector of the Astral Express where the characters live together and the second one being the guide and main voice in Genshin Impact.
But what made a positive impact on the fans was what happened in the video, and that is that both characters are fighting each other in real life, being that we can see two people using these costumes in what seems to be a shopping mall, with a small beginning where they measure face to face. After this begins a “fight” between the two, but we can see that it is only comical, as the blows are weak, Paimon in some parts dances and Pom-Pom uses his ears to attack, so the situation did not lead to more.
Also an added bonus of this video is the background song, “In the End” by Linkin Park, a song popularly used by internet cultures when there is a duel between two characters, so there were many comments from fans who echoed this humorous moment. Among these many we see those who loved the idea of two figures so representative of both games dueling, while many others showed their own support for their favorite character.
Genshin Impact is one of the most relevant gacha-style videogames in the genre, even surpassing its predecessor from the developer Hoyoverse, Honkai Impact 3rd, thus becoming the most representative game that introduces us to the vast continent of Teuvat and its regions. On the other hand, in Honkai Star Rail we will meet the “Trazacaminos” who will travel through different areas of the universe meeting all kinds of characters, including enemies, it is here where turn-based combat, where strategy is vital, will stand out.
