Genshin Impact finally held the long awaited livestream of the Latin America-inspired version 5.0, Natlan. An incredible trailer kicked off what will be one of the nations that will forever change the adventure that travelers around the world have experienced. Capitano facing the Pyro Archon, a mission full of excitement, banners that no one would expect and improvements that for years were elusive to everyone, were the ingredients of a transmission that will be trending topic until we finally land in the Pyro region this August 28th.
A new game to discover – Genshin Impact
The first contact of the livestream was a trailer that made it clear that the people in charge of Genshin Impact want to raise the hype for the story to stratospheric levels. Resurrection, death as the beginning of a second life and the imminent destruction of Natlan will be the central focus of a story where the traveler will have to earn, by his own right, the power to use the element of the war nation, the Pyro. But not everything will be confrontation and destruction within the region based in Latin America, as exploration by land, air and water will be the highlight of this version.
Mualani, Kinich and Kachina will be the characters in charge of introducing the renewed gameplay that Natlan will offer us. In addition, the Saurians belonging to the six tribes of the region together with an adorable Saurus (mount) called “Little One” will be the pets and mounts in charge of taking us to the most remote places in the world while we get protogems and resources for our journey.
Continuing with the news presented in the livestream, the banners that will debut with version 5.0 were finally revealed. In the case of the first one, Mualani and Kazuha will be in charge of starting the first phase together with the four designated stars: Bennett, Kachina and Xinyan. Then, Kinich (the Sasuke of Genshin Impact, including Naruto) and the Shogun Raiden will finish doing the honors to a version full of surprises regarding the wishes and rewards on the verge of the fourth anniversary.
It is here where the surprises came in the form of waves, since it was learned that they will give away a 5-star character from the permanent banner during the anniversary celebrations. In addition, there will be a new mechanic within the gacha called “Capture the Shine” where travelers will be able to have a RATE UP (improvement in the probability) at the moment of pulling for a promotional character. In this way, we will have a 55% chance in the Gachapon which will be seen by a new animation where a pink-blue wish will appear. Not to mention the web event where they will give away 3 exclusive weapons from the Natlan region.
Finally, and as icing on the cake, the people in charge of Genshin Impact shared a number of improvements in the quality of the game that made players who for years felt that their needs had not been heard explode with joy. Below, we will share with you the highlights of these incredible changes and surprises that will arrive in version 5.0:
- Kachina will be a character that will be given away as you progress through Natlan’s story.
- 20 promotional rolls will be given to all players.
- The location of the flowers for ascension will be shown on the map.
- The pass will allow you to choose the materials you need.
- The weapon banner will not have two paths. It will only be one and the weapon of the permanent.
- Mounts and summons that can be used freely throughout Natlan.
- “Blessed Frost”: Item that will allow you to create an artifact with the main stat and two secondary ones of your choice.
- New system of daily and rewards of the adventurer’s book.
