It’s no secret that here at Anmo Sugoi we love Genshin Impact mods. The huge and passionate community of this game has managed to do amazing things within the huge Teyvat world created by HoYoverse. But our favorite mods are those that transform the adorable Genshin Impact girls into iconic characters from other video games and anime. This time, we have an awesome modification that allows us to play as Illyasviel von Einzbern from the Fate saga.
We can now play Genshin Impact as Illya thanks to this mod!
Illyasviel von Einzbern, better known simply as Illya, is the protagonist of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya. She is a very popular character that luckily now appeared in the world of Genshin Impact thanks to the work of this talented modder. User Hiroto posted this mod on the Game Banana site, which turns Nahida (The Archon of the Dendro element) into Illya. It’s a really impressive modification, as these two characters are quite different, but Hiroto managed to make this cosplay work perfectly. The magical girl outfit, with the pink dress and stockings, and her accessories look very detailed. It’s simply stunning and is something that Fate fans will definitely appreciate.
In the description of this Genshin Impact mod, creator Hiroto tells that its development was not easy. Apparently, the cape and hair gave him a lot of trouble, which is quite logical, since even the most experienced video game developers have a hard time creating capes and hair. Unfortunately, this led to some clipping on these textures (The cape can even be disabled by pressing 0 on your keyboard) but it looks so good that we can’t complain. But Hiroto’s problems also extended to the real world, as he recounts that there was a huge power outage in his town that left him without electricity at random times for over two days.
Despite all those problems, Hiroto put in a lot of effort and managed to finish this fantastic Genshin Impact mod that is already making waves with the community. Something very important that he clarified in the description is the fact that Nahida/Illya is wearing shorts underneath her dress. This not only ensures that the mod will not be removed by Game Banana, but also prevents people from doing “inappropriate” things with two characters who are underage. At the end of the day, this was a wise decision, as we can appreciate this mod mainly for how detailed and adorable it is.
