That is why it is not surprising that many titles seek to replicate a little of what it achieved, and now, within the HoYoverse game community, the idea has begun to circulate that there is a gacha-style title that would have copied it, at least in the design of its characters.
Girls Frontline is compared to Genshin Impact
From social networks, such as Twitter/X, this image has begun to be shared, which started a small debate among fans of one of the most important gacha titles that exist today, Genshin Impact, in this case, because as you can see in the same image, it is being compared with another game. We are referring to GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, another video game of the same style, where the “waifus” are usually the main attraction, but apparently one of these has a great resemblance to one of the most recognized faces of the HoYoverse title.
The resemblance is between Lumine, the female protagonist of Genshin Impact, and Nagant Revolver, one of the girls present in Girls’ Frontline 2, and the resemblance is more than obvious when you see the characters side by side, as presented in this image. From the hair color, hairstyle, or even the look of both girls is very similar, so from the networks were not made to wait and began to mention how Girls’ Frontline 2 would be copying Genshin Impact, at least in the creation of this character.
And many were surprised to see the resemblance, but rather than taking it as something bad, they saw it as a funny situation to laugh at, being that, although many talked about how this game would be copying Genshin Impact, the messages are generalized in seeing “Lumine” using weapons.
