The game Genshin Impact has one of the most active communities on the internet, thanks to the rich content that HoYoverse has provided for them to use in their various creations, from cosplays that bring the characters closer to our reality with amazing details, to mods that show us a new side of them within the game, or the classic illustrations that impress us with their diversity of styles.
An example of the last point is the illustration shared by a user of a popular platform in Japan that shows us one of the most beloved girls in the game, the Mondstadt idol and deaconess of the Favonius Church, Barbara, in a work that astonishes us by recreating her realistically, in a work that stands out for its high quality to achieve this new aesthetic of the Genshin Impact character.

The new illustration amazed the fans of the game Genshin Impact for several reasons, one of the most obvious being to recreate one of the most loved girls in the game, Barbara, but even more so to see that in this work they tried to do it in a way rarely seen before, by making her realistic, bringing her closer to our world and giving her fans an idea of what she would look like if she were a real person.
To recreate Barbara as faithfully as possible, in this image we can see that the outfit she is wearing is almost identical to the original one used in Genshin Impact, an important clarification considering that she is one of the few characters who has two skins in the game, being that this one consists of a white dress with blue ruffles and gold lining, at least in what can be seen in the illustration that only shows us the upper part of her body, while another of her iconic garments is also visible: her blue and white cap that reminds us a lot of those worn by nurses.
Regarding the facial recreation, one of the most significant aspects considering that they sought to show her with a realistic aesthetic, Barbara was given features similar to those of Asians, something that could be accurate considering that Genshin Impact is developed by a Chinese company, but that clashes with the game’s own lore, knowing that she belongs to Mondstadt, a region that is inspired by Germany in our world so her features should be closer to these, but still it is a work that will satisfy her fans for its great quality.
Barbara is one of the most loved characters by the Genshin Impact community for various reasons, one of the main ones being her design which combines the attire of a deaconess with that of an idol, a successful choice of concepts that enchanted the players, who also, considering that she is one of the first characters obtainable within the game and that she fulfills a great role as healer, her popularity is more than justified, even today being a little more displaced from this role, since many more efficient characters have replaced her, but they did not manage to make her lose that love felt by the community.
Genshin Impact, on the other hand, launched its version 4.1 a few weeks ago which brought a lot of new content for all players, one of the most juicy being the incorporation of new characters, such as Neuvillette in the first phase of version 4.1 which has already ended or Wriothesley who stars in banners for second phase which is already available. In addition, there is currently a fighting event where players can select various characters in combat with curious variables and get many rewards.
