Genshin Impact version 5.4 “A Dream Moon” brings back the Mikawa Flower Festival, a new 5-star playable character, exciting events and system enhancements

This festival at Genshin Impact, which symbolizes the union between humans and youkai, promises to be an unforgettable experience for veterans and new players alike. The Shogun Raiden, an iconic Inazuma figure, will also make an appearance at this event, apparently investigating a mysterious nightmare that haunts the region. Players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of games and activities, including the 48-hour game creation contest, which will test their creativity and skill.

Among the featured mini-games added to this version of Genshin Impact is “Kitsune’s Dreaming,” where players must guide a little kitsune through her dreams, collecting fried tofu to reach the goal. For those who prefer a mental challenge, “Illusory Clone” offers a unique experience where daruma badgers will mimic the player’s previous moves, forcing them to use their wits to unlock the path to the goal.

In addition, the popular Akitsu game returns with an enhanced version called “Akitsu Harpastum,” where players must not only return projectiles, but also dodge them to keep their vitality points above zero. Participation in these games will allow players to earn Festive Seals, which can be exchanged for valuable rewards, including the new 4-star spear, Pavilion Talk.

But the Mikawa Flower Festival is not the only new feature that Genshin Impact version 5.4 brings with it. Players will also be able to welcome Yumemizuki Mizuki, a psychotherapist and majority shareholder of the Aisa Spa, who will join the cast of playable characters as a 5-star Anemo character, wielding a Catalyst.

Her combat style focuses on the dream-sailing state, activated by her Elemental Ability, which deals Anemo damage in the AoE and increases the damage of the team’s Whirlwind reactions when nearby members hit enemies with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo or Electro attacks. His Ultimate Ability summons a minibaku that creates special Yumemizuki candy. When team members with less than 70% health collect these candies, they recover a certain amount of health. If their health exceeds 70%, the candies explode and inflict Anemo damage on the AoE. In addition, if Mizuki is on the team, consuming regenerative dishes can restore an additional 30% health for all characters.

In the second half, players will be able to try to get Furina and Wriothesley. Importantly, Mizuki will join the permanent gachapon after the 5.5 update, providing an additional opportunity to obtain her.

Update 5.4 also includes a number of exciting events, such as “Anecdotes of a Journey: Poetic Anthology,” which will allow players to explore the characters’ captivating stories. In addition, several mini-games have been added, such as the kinematics editing challenges in the “Operation: Fish Invasion” event, the “Operation: Fish Invasion” fishing game with multiplayer and competitive modes, and the “Realm of Heroic Refinement” combat event.

HoYoverse has also implemented several system optimizations to enhance the gameplay experience. Players can now set up an upgrade plan for their characters in the Upgrade Guide, making it easier to keep track of what materials are needed and how to obtain them. The character and weapon filtering system has also been simplified, reducing the steps required to navigate the interfaces. In addition, an “Auto Add” button has been added to the Weapon Refinement interface, streamlining this process.
